post discectemy i5 s1
i had a herniated disc at I5 S1 that over time calcified and twisted the theral nerve sac at that loc. my spinal surg. was 4 hours freeing the nerve which was going in all directions that anotomically was incorrect. now i have the burning, kneading, bulging pains in my feet. is there a chance that as time goes on that pain will subside? my surg says to be prepared for a long wait and lifestyle change, ie. no heavy work. that i can live with, and the numerous numbness is okay, but pain in feet has GOT to go. thanx for your time.
