Can back pain cause slight testicular pain?

Q:
Age: 21   Sex: M   Concern: Back Pain

Dr. Tran,

I use to work as a graphic artist for a year and i pretty much sat behind the computer and did not get much exercise. My question is after i help my dad out one day carrying large sheets of ply wood my back started hurting. Shortly after i had a slight pain in my right testicle. I went to the doctor to check it out and he said it was just a strain so i did not worry too much about it and after about a week the testicle pain went away but my back still hurt. Now that i lost that computer job i have started working two jobs. One is a fast pace factory job which includes lifting some boxes a short distance and some of these boxes may weigh up to about 30 lbs. My second job is at wal mart and i occasionally lift some heavy boxes there too. So i want to know what i can do to fix my back pain and my occasional testicle pain? And i guess i would like to know if this is anything serious?

A:
yes. Compression of the sacral nerves can give testicular pain.
